Here’s a step-by-step guide that will help you sync iPhone contacts with outlook.

First of all, you must make sure that you have set outlook as default program.

1. Open Outlook
2. Click “Tools” » “Options” and click on”others”
3. Check the box  “Set Outlook as default program for messaging, contacts and calendars.” Click on “OK”

You can also do it like this:

1. Open start menu, Click on “Set Program Access and Defaults”
2. Select “Custom”
3. Choose “Microsoft Outlook”  and click “OK”.

Once you are set with the configuration, open iTunes, proceed with the following:

1. Click on the iPhone icon  in the left column
2. In the right tab, select the “Info”
3. Then, select the contacts list to synchronize
