It is prettey easy to rip CDs to mp3 with iTunes. Let me show you:
1. Insert the Music CD
Insert the CD to the CD-ROM, it appears in iTunes after a few seconds.

2. all I have to do is click on the “Import CD” button and it’ll start copying all the music onto computer.

3. Before you start to import CDs to iTunes, you can change your default music format to mp3 format and iTunes will rip CDs to mp3 format instead of AAC. Click “Controls” –> “Preferences…”, then click on the “Advanced” tab and go to “Importing”, Click on the “Import Using” pop-up and Choose MP3 as default importing format.
