Here are some hints for you to find why your iPod won’t sync certain video:

  • video files with long files name cannot be imported to itunes
  • video with odd resolution, (say 579*584, which the number cannot be divide by 8/16 exactly.)
  • bad converters will also lead to this question.
  • a not-up-to-date itunes may be another question
  • video files with drm protection need authorisation to be synced to iPod.
  • Media file can’t be found, maybe you have move it to somewhere else.
  • There is already content from five other iTunes Store accounts on the iPod.

Then, What is your question?

    ok its all mp4, its low complexity, it is lower or close to the specs u gave.. ( some are lower and work ) then some have reasonable names, itunes is up to date, i have not bought any itunes videos, the video is there coz i can play it, resolution is exactly like wat u specified, so wats the problem? some videos with long names are sync’d.. so why not the rest?

    @dennys
    You can try convert the video using iTunes, locate the video in iTunes, and click “advance” “Create iPod/iPhone Versions”, you can get a video for iPod soon.

    I don’t know the reason why this happened. iTunes is rather weird sometimes.
